Flute, clarinet, violin, and finger bells

The crystalline world revealed after an ice storm is quiet, sparkling, and tempting to explore. Walk carefully, try to keep your balance, and soak in the soft sounds.
This piece is staged such that the woodwind performers walk slowly across the stage together as the music progresses. May be performed on its own or as a set with Where There’s Smoke, for cello and piano, and One Hundred Percent Chance of Rain, for piano trio — a full spectrum of the forces of nature.
